The room was clean and comfortable, but the only window faced a corridor, limiting natural light. Enjoyed the convenient bike tours nearby.

I absolutely loved my stay at Suan Dok Gate Guesthouse. The location couldn’t be better. Just a short walk to local eateries and coffee shops, everything I needed was within reach. My room was always impeccably clean, and the little touches, like fresh water every day, made a real difference. The staff at the reception were incredibly helpful. They helped arrange my scooter rental and even provided great tips for getting around Chiang Mai. I enjoyed starting my day with a tasty breakfast, offering a nice variety. On the downside, the air conditioning was positioned directly above my bed, which made it tricky to control the temperature comfortably. I found the room size to be a bit compact, but it was cozy enough for my needs. I genuinely enjoyed my time here and appreciated the friendly vibe.

Recommend it for solo travelers
I was amazed by how the staff jumped right in when some guests were getting rowdy at night. They handled the situation like pros, which really helped me get back to sleep.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but all in all the value was still good enough.

the location was super ideal for us, really close to everything we wanted to see. the staff were so friendly, went above and beyond to help us out. our room was really comfy and super clean too. we loved the little touches like fresh water every day. overall, it made our first trip to chiang mai really enjoyable!
only downside was the aircon was right above the bed, made it a bit tricky to regulate. also, the room was a lil small, so just keep that in mind.
